General Terms and Conditions of Business
Our prices are subject to an annual adjustment based on the Consumer Price Index (CPI) 2020 statistics from Statistics Austria.Please be assured that we make every effort to keep this increase to a minimum. The increase helps us ensure our commitment to providing the very best trainings and solutions to you. We appreciate your business and continued support.
Inhouse programs and trainings
Your order can be placed by e-mail or by a signed offer / order confirmation.
The terms and conditions described below are part of the automatically generated offers. If provisions of any supplemental agreements conflict with provisions of these terms and conditions, the provisions of such supplemental agreements shall prevail.
Our prices are in EURO and excluding VAT.
The prices are subject to an annual adjustment according to the CPI 2020 of Statistik Austria.
In case of postponement or cancellation, new prices could apply.
1 training day = 8 hours
Accounting is done after each event (Time for payment: 28 days)
Please note that if the training time is 0,5 days the price is calculated with 0,75 days and in case of 0,25 days training time 0,5 days, unless otherwise agreed with your consultant.
Cancellation of a training/workshop:
Cancellation/postponement is free of charge up to 4 weeks before the event; afterwards we charge 50% of the total costs and 100% of the costs one week (5 business days) before the event.
Cancellation of a coaching:
Cancellation/postponement of coaching up to two days prior is free of charge, afterwards we charge 100%. The coaching contingent is available up to one year after the first coaching session took place. Appointments are made proactively between coachee and coach.

are charged additionally (mileage allowance, plane or train ticket, transfer from/to airport/railway station) as well as costs for board and lodging (evening prior to first event day until end of event). Plane journeys of more than 5 hours are booked in Business Class. Costs are charged in the actual amount, no additional services charges.
1st-4th hour: no charges; from 5th hour daily rate for trainers, coaches, key-note speakers or external staff applies. This rate covers the cost for board. For MDI employees (consultant, project manager) no fee for the travel time applies.
Maximum of 12 participants per group. We book an additional trainer for 13+ attendees, unless specified otherwise.
Quality management: We care for the quality of our offer. Therefore, it is possible that an additional MDI trainer/employee is present during the training days (no additional costs for our customer).
Evaluation & Transfer:
Standard pre- and follow-up questionnaire for participants for each event is included in daily training fee.
meetings, project feedback and reporting is defined in the process management and consulting fees.
Software applications, special training materials upon customer request, licence costs, project management: travel arrangement (e.g. hotel administration) for participants, participant communication only related to booked MDI products
Any other additional services are only provided in accordance with preliminary order by the customer.
Training dates can be blocked for two weeks. We thank you for your understanding that only after your receipt of order we can confirm the dates.
Obvious mistakes and calculation clerical errors are non-binding on our part.
Open courses and seminars
You can register at www.mdi-training.com and by e-mail. Each registration is considered binding.
Our prices include all seminar documents and materials as well as the seminar packages (including snacks during the breaks, lunch).
In the case of virtual/hybrid seminars, the documents and materials are only provided in electronic form.
Not included in the participation fee are possible accommodation costs including dinner and breakfast, your consumption on site and other additional costs.
For cooperation events the respective regulations of the cooperation partner apply with regard to catering.
Our prices are exclusive of value added tax.
And this applies to all MDI events
Since our trainers and we plan on a long-term basis, we ask for your understanding that a cancellation or postponement of date after the order or registration has been completed (regardless of the reasons for your cancellation) will result in costs for you in the following cases:
Training/workshop/consulting – also in virtual form: Cancellation and Postponement of date up to 4 weeks before the start of the event is free of charge, after that we will charge 50% of the costs or 5 working days before the start of the event the full costs. These cancellation conditions also apply to postponements.
For cooperation events, the respective cancellation conditions of the cooperation partner apply, provided that you receive the invoice from the cooperation partner.
Coaching (also virtual):
Cancellation/postponement of coaching up to two days prior is free of charge, afterwards we charge 100%. The coaching contingent is available up to one year after the first coaching session took place. Appointments are made proactively between coachee and coach. Our coachings are charged pre-paid. Accounting is done after the first coaching session (Time for payment: 4 weeks).
Haufe Coaching. Cancellation/postponement will be defined in the contract set-up between Haufe Advisory and the customer.
We ask for your understanding that cancellations and postponements can only be accepted in writing (also via e-mail).
Terms of payment
Our invoices are payable without deduction upon presentation of the invoice. In the event of late payment, we will charge all actual reminder and collection fees as well as 8% interest on arrears.
The client is not entitled to withhold payments or to offset them against his own claims.
The payment period is 4 weeks unless we have expressly agreed otherwise in a framework contract or in individual cases in writing.
Cancellations by MDI
MDI may cancel events due to illness of trainers and circumstances beyond MDI’s control and cannot be held responsible for the failure to take place of an event.
Changes in the open MDI program: MDI assumes no liability for printing and typing errors in publications and on the homepage.
The minimum number of participants in open seminars and courses depends on the seminar or course.
For organizational reasons, we reserve the right to change the seminar location, the date or the trainer or to cancel a seminar. The participants will be informed by telephone or e-mail about the change/cancellation and possible alternatives.
The documents provided by us are and will remain the intellectual property of MDI and are exclusively available to our participants for their personal use as users of what they have learned (i.e. not for commercial purposes as trainers). Any further distribution and use of this material – including internal company use – is subject to our prior written consent.
All our trainers and consultants have a contractual relationship with MDI. The client is not entitled to ask them to accept assignments on their own account.
We work for different companies, which often compete with each other. Our trainers and employees are bound to absolute discretion – this naturally also applies to incidents in personal areas.
Data protection and data security are important to us. You agree that the data of your company, which is collected in the course of the cooperation, will be included in the MDI database. Please note that we use e-mail addresses of our customers and business partners to inform you about news, event dates, offers etc. If this is not desired, you can stop this at any time by sending a written message to email@example.com.
Place of jurisdiction
For all disputes that cannot be settled by consensus, the court of competent jurisdiction in Vienna shall be agreed as the place of jurisdiction.
