Gunther, what was your motivation to write a book about Self Leadership?
I believe in development. While working as a personnel manager I always had a passion for personnel development. You can say that it is my mission to support other people in their development.
Furthermore, I more and more realized that I do not only lead myself but that I am also led by others and inner drives. I believe that it is not only me, but also other people that feel that way, especially managers. I focused intensively on opportunities of self-determination und I’d like to share my experiences.
To whom do you address this book?
Originally, I wrote this book for managers in leading positions. I know that good leadership is only possible if there is a good foundation of self-leadership. However, the principles and tools can be applied by anyone.
What can the readers expect from this book?
As a reader, you can’t avoid questioning and partly changing your previous life design. Therefore, the book is also a workbook.
Was there a personal highlight for you during your first book publication?
There were several positive feedbacks by people that read the book. They said that it changed something in their lives. They realized what success actually means for them. I am really glad about that.
