Once again we decided to support the UNICEF initiative “Let us learn” instead of providing our customers with gifts.
Why “let us learn”?
57 million children worldwide do not have access to education. Especially girls are profoundly affected by this. Stefan and Susan Findel try to change this fact. With the initiative “Let us learn” they have already given numerous children in some of the world´s poorest countries access to education.
This project promotes education in five of the world´s poorest countries: Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Liberia, Madagascar and Nepal. The donated funds pay for pre-primary education, primary schools and courses for adolescents who have not yet had the opportunity to attend a school.
Stefan Findel describes his motivation for this project as follows: “Knowledge is power, and I think that is the driving force behind my idea to promote education – because education is the power.” Here we entirely agree!
