Course in the practice of: Competence as a new leader

The key leadership instruments for practice

This course in practice is designed for “new” leaders and managers and will serve as guidance for you during your first months in your new role. Based on the examination of your own strengths and of the challenges, you will acquire exactly the competencies you need to reach your goals.

Modular structure

Over a period of 6 months, you will complete 3 modules. You can start with any one of the modules – you define the perfect timeframe for it.



  • Preliminary online work: personal definition of goals, preparatory tasks, MDI leadership style analysis, DiSC® personality analysis
  • Training: 2 days (Module F1) + 1.5 days (Module F2) + 1.5 days (Module F3)
  • Online follow-up: Transfer tasks, controlling of goals, follow-up webinar including check of result
  • Coaching: if you book 3 modules, you will additionally receive a 1.5-hour one-on-one coaching session

  • acquire a tool set for your leadership practice, use it successfully and
  • thereby be ready for your new responsibility.

Communicating effectively with employees and customers

  • Providing targeted guidance through constructive feedback
  • Giving encouragement through appreciation, stating demands through constructive criticism
  • Conducting difficult (employee) meetings
  • Acting confidently in negotiations
